Busy Busy Busy

Wow... what a few months I've had, not only with family but a wedding... I am now Mrs Danielle Rack...

So yes a busy busy girl, creating and putting together all of our wedding stationery which has made me re-assess where my crafts are going. I am now going to be offering wedding stationery as a product, designed and made to please the bride, groom, family and friends.

Here is a picture of our stationery

So as I take back my craft space in the spare room I have so many ideas running though my head... bring on some spare time :-)

Corrosive Challenge #8

I've decided to join in on one challenge a week from different websites, this week I decided to join Corrosive Challenge's opportunty... http://www.corrosivechallengesbyjanet.blogspot.com/ which requires you to design a card where a sentiment is the main focal point. I also loved a previous challenge on Mojo Monday so decided to use that layout for my card http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com/

Unfortuantely I'm still only a newbie when it comes to Stampin' Up! gear so I haven't gotten alot of punches and I had major doubt on my hand skills of cutting out a scallop circle... but this is what I came up with... I love this sentiment, perfect for Mother Day

From Stampin' Up! with Love

Final Donation Amount for the Bushfire Appeal

In mid-February, Stampin' Up launched the Bushfire Appeal in response to the tragedy that affected so many lives in Victoria and across Australia. They’re pleased to announce that with the sales of the Bushfire Appeal sets, the final donation amount to the Australian Red Cross Bushfires 2009 Appeal will be $77,889.63 AUD!

It's great to know a company like this cares about the world and so many people made extra donations by purchases selected stamp sets.

Well Done!

Transition to Die-Cut Stamp Sets

Transition to Die-Cut Stamp Sets with the New Catalogue 31 March 2009

We are excited to announce that with the release of the 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalogue on 1 April, we will be transitioning to all die-cut stamp sets! We know that both demonstrators and customers have enjoyed the ease of mounting these types of sets, and we’re thrilled to be able to offer these sets to you in more than just the mini catalogues.

Please be aware that we’ve set up a process to transition from square-cut to die-cut with those sets that we are carrying over from the 2008-2009 Idea Book & Catalogue to the new 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalogue. We will continue to fill orders with the carryover square-cut sets until our inventory runs out.

During this transition period, when you enter orders for a die-cut stamp set in OEX that is a carryover set, you'll see a pop-up box notifying you that the system is automatically replacing the item codes you enter for die-cut stamp sets with item codes for square-cut stamp sets. This means as we continue to have inventory for square-cut carryover sets, you’ll receive these sets. Once our inventory runs out, you’ll receive the new die-cut sets.

What about the Costs for the New Die-Cut Sets?
Fortunately, with this transition to all die-cut sets, you will not see an increase in price for die-cut sets in the catalogue. So the price you pay for the square-cut sets is the same price you will pay for the die-cut sets.

Stampin' Up!

Wow oh Wow... so my kit arrived... it was so exciting...

So now it's all now on my craft desk and I'm going to enjoy playing with all my new toys

It's on the move

So I tried my best to sort it all yesterday and made the move into the spare room... although it's very difficult to hold a confersation with my partner through the walls so I guess I will miss crafting in the lounge... but atleast I can leave things on my desk and not worry about the children losing pieces.

So here is what I've done so far thanks to a friend (YvonneB) and her help... all over the internet too, we are very techie girls and don't actually need to physically be anywhere :)

Althought what you don't see is the piles of things sitting on the bed... this is a work in progress and I will get there... I'm dreaming big :-)

Friday 6 March 2009

My Craft Station

Well after moving from the dinning room table, I moved temporarily to a desk in the lounge to see if I'd use something other than the dinning room table, and to see what size desk I'd need.

So here is a picture of my temporary desk....

And here is where I'm moving to...
